What you get

Why people call us for bathroom installation

  • One team for the plumbing, the gas and the fit. Fewer trades means fewer gaps for things to go wrong in.
  • Waterproofing done properly behind the tiles, which is the part you never see and the part that fails when it is rushed.
  • WRAS water regulations qualified, so the installation is compliant rather than just watertight for now.
  • Fixed price agreed before the first tile comes off.
  • We can handle the full strip out, or just the plumbing if you have your own tiler and fitter.

Bathroom projects we take on

  • Full bathroom installations and refurbishments
  • En suites and shower rooms
  • Cloakrooms and downstairs toilets
  • Upgrades to part of an existing bathroom, such as a new bath, basin, toilet or shower

Showers, baths and basins

Alongside full fit outs, we take on the individual jobs that come up in a bathroom:

  • Showers. New showers fitted, shower pumps installed where a gravity-fed system needs the boost, and thermostatic shower valves repaired or replaced.
  • Baths. The old bath out and the new one in, with the taps and waste connected.
  • Basins and toilets. Replacements, plus new waste pipework where the layout changes.
  • Wastes. Blocked basin, bath and shower wastes cleared, and leaking waste pipes repaired.

For smaller repairs, such as a dripping tap or a toilet that will not stop running, see plumbing repairs. If you would like warm tiles underfoot, underfloor heating is easiest to fit while the bathroom floor is already up.

Questions

Bathroom Installation questions, answered

How long does a full bathroom installation take?

A typical full bathroom is one to two weeks depending on the amount of tiling, whether walls are being moved and how much making good is needed. We give you a schedule up front and tell you which days you will be without the room.

Do you supply the bathroom or do I?

Either works. Plenty of customers buy their own suite and tiles and have us fit them, which gives you full control of the look. We can also supply everything. If you are buying your own, send us the spec before you order and we will flag anything that will not work with your water pressure or pipework.

Will my water pressure work with the shower I want?

This is the single most common bathroom mistake. A low-pressure gravity-fed system will not run a high-flow rain head without a pump, and mains-pressure combi systems have their own flow limits. We check your actual pressure and flow rate before you commit to a shower, not after it is installed and disappointing.

Can you move the toilet or basin to a different wall?

Usually yes, though soil pipe runs need enough fall to drain properly, so there are physical limits. We will tell you at survey what is straightforward, what needs a macerator and what is genuinely not possible.
